Baby not taking to solid foods...

So my little one turned six months on Monday and we were given the green light to start solids back at her 4 month check-up. For the past two months she just has no interest in baby food. She turns her head away, pushes the spoon away, etc. My first child started solids and took off with it right away so this situation is new to me. I'm wondering if this baby led weaning I keep reading about is something that I should try? Any input? She has her 6 month check-up on Friday so I'm gonna ask the dr but figured I'd ask here to see if anyone else is in the same boat.
