One year ago yesterday...

I received my blood work results back and learned that I had PCOS. My hormones were all out of wack. My husband and I had been trying for over a year and had no luck. My Drs appt to follow up was on the 27 and I had nothing to do but sit and wait for a plan of action from the Dr. On the 27th they did an ultrasound of my uterus and ovaries and told me that they wanted to put me on birth control to try to re-regulate my hormones. I was frustrated and sad to think that we couldn’t try for another 6 months. They gave me provera to jump start my period and I took it for 5 days. On December 3 I woke up feeling a little off still with no period and took my last pregnancy test for fun. There was a faint line. Over the next several days I took probably another 15-20 tests to be sure.

If you would have told me a year ago that I would have an 11 week old baby boy today, I would have thought you were crazy. I still can’t believe it sometimes. Crazy how much can change in 1 year.
