What is a good age gap between children?

I’m trying to plan when we should start trying for another baby. My daughter is currently 7 months old and I’m wondering if it would just be easier for them to be closer in age!

Every family is different. I prefer bigger age gaps, like 4-5 years would’ve been my ideal gap. Life surprised us with a 2.5 year gap. I wasn’t ready and definitely struggled, still struggle sometimes and wish we could’ve waited.

It's entirely up to you, but my son is 3 and I'm just now entertaining the idea of another one, but still not entirely ready. I would like only one in diapers and for my son to be old enough to understand another baby is coming. Plus getting up with a newborn and trying to get up with a potty training toddler sounds like a nightmare 😭 I feel like the first two years are hard enough in their own, but some people prefer to do it all close together and get it out of the way.

I have a 4.5 month old and am itching to try to get pregnant again. I have a 9 year old as well. I think it may be harder in my case. My oldest is SO used to it just being me and her. My baby has a hard time going out and cries in the car so we’re super limited in activities. 
We want one more. I’m 30 now and said my uterus is closed after 32. I want to change jobs and can’t get a new one then plan a maternity leave so that is also a part of it. Lastly, I want SOME freedom before I’m ancient. My husband is always talking about how he traveled through Europe  at 22 blah blah blah and I’m like “I had a one year old🙃😬”

I wanted my kids close together because my and my 2 siblings are all within a 4 year span of each other and we are all insanely close so now I have a freshly 2 year old and I’m due in December

I like bigger age gaps. Like 4+ years so the first is more independent and more understanding. My girls are almost 9 years apart and from 2 different marriages, but even with my first I wanted a 4+ year gap if we did have more (which I was fine with just my one once she was born)

It’s all in what you and your partner want. I have 2 boys and they’re almost 10 years apart. I didn’t think I’d ever have another baby after my first. My husband wants to try for another one in hopes we can have a girl, but my inner time clock is ticking, so I don’t know if we will have another one. We aren’t really trying right now because the baby is only 7 months, but we aren’t preventing.

It depends on what you want.  My first 2 are 14 months apart, second and third are 18 months apart,  and my third and fourth will be 18 months apart. Its nuts buts it's all I know and have nothing to compare it to. It's my normal
