Is the owlet cam worth it?

I have the sock and I love it but considering buying the camera. What are your thoughts? Also if you use another Brand comment below what brand it is and why you love it!

The picture is wonderful and I like that I can see her sock read outs and the camera at the same time, but the lag is terrible. It has like a 30 second lag and to me that’s unacceptable. A lot can happen in 30 seconds. We also have a vtech monitor, it does not connect to WiFi so I have to carry the receiver around with me, but it has no lag at all, the picture also isn’t very good, but I can see if she needs me. I honestly don’t know if all WiFi cameras will have a lag, but if they do, I would stick to one that doesn’t use WiFi.

I don’t see it being a necessity unless ur baby is born early or has healthy issues. I’ve only ever heard of people complaining over it as well

Meant to click other brand.  I got a cheaper one that is an excellent quality and does everything the owlet does.  The only thing is that it doesn’t connect to my smartphone so it can’t be hacked as easily.  It has night vision, plays music, temperature, I can talk back on it etc.
