Has anyone experienced a relationship change from good to bad with MIL after your announcement of your baby?

Mine just became very desperate of me and my husband.... Like a needy child who follows you to the bathroom because they want to see you at all times and ask you inappropriate questions, like how your bowel movements works.

I sometimes feel like my MIL is trying to tell me how to parent sometimes. My daughter cried every time she goes to her and I told my mil if she wants to FaceTime me to feel free. And she said no, it needs to be physical. Well, if you don’t see her often, it’s the only way she’ll learn who you are. My parents FaceTime me almost everyday to see her. Whether it’s to say happy how ever many months birthday or to just see her and say hi and talk to her. Even her great great aunt FaceTimes to see her and even says she wants to come see her or vice versa (she lives in Indiana). But I think my mil will get the hint that we do parenting differently than you did.

My husbands (young) niece was one month behind me in pregnancy. My MIL was forever comparing us. Since our baby was born she has not reached out to me one time. It was always me getting ahold of her. I have stopped the effort as it wasn’t reciprocated. 
I’m pregnant again and MIL doesn’t seem excited at all.
My husband and I agree the only one missing out will be her. So 🤷🏼‍♀️

I wouldn’t say bad but she annoys me more with her parenting advice 😂 I know she’s trying to be helpful but it drives me nuts
