When should I announce my pregnancy?

So I’m kind of in a dilemma I was going to wait till 12 weeks to announce my pregnancy. I went to the doctor on Monday and was 10 weeks and 1 day. Baby was doing great heartbeat was 175 and was measuring at 2.3 cm. The only concern my doctor had was that my placenta is covering my cervix she said most of the time it will move as the baby grows but to be safe no sex for 4 weeks until my next appointment (December 2nd). With that being said I don’t know if I should announce it now wait until 12 weeks which I won’t have another appointment in between or wait until my next appointment. I think I’m safe to announce it now but I just need opinions, this is my first baby so I’m not sure what to do.
