How about this pearl of wisdom...

My son is teething and I gave him a frozen breast milk Popsicle . My MIL goes on to say, “you really shouldn’t be giving him medicine or stuff like that for teething. If you let them tough it out with teething pain they’ll be less likely to cry over falling down and such when they are older.”

Like first of all, breast milk isn’t medicine. Second, wow I feel bad for my husband and her other kids who had to be in pain without any relief in an effort to “toughen them up.” She says stuff like this all the time.
