One Night Stand pt.8

It was getting heated in Dylan’s car & soon the windows were all fogged up from the heavy breathing. Dylan & Summer were completely naked & Summer had been grinding up & down on Dylan the entire time. Dylan loved the feeling, but at the same time was worried about Summer. Why was she so closed? He knew he was falling for her because at this point he cared for her. It wasn’t just sex for him. It was way more than that. Dylan groaned loudly as he came.

Dylan: Ugh! Fuck! Sorry... I cuss when I get excited.

Summer: Don’t apologize.

After getting dressed, Dylan laid out a blanket on top of the hood of his car & he & Summer laid out there to cool off before he went to bring her back home.

Dylan: Look, I know you said no more talking about me... But I wanna know more about you.

Summer sighed.

Summer: I kinda meant both ways.

Dylan: Oh. Ok, so I guess we’ll just lay here & not talk.

Summer rolled over closer to him. Dylan had one arm under his head & he wrapped his other arm around Summer as she laid on his chest. She played with his key.

Summer: We can talk, I guess. Like my bio said, I was just looking for a distraction.

Dylan: May I ask why?

Summer: I’m probably gonna hate myself tomorrow morning for telling you all this...

Dylan: You can tell me.

Summer: Well, my boyfriend. I guess ex-boyfriend & my ex-bestfriend were going behind me back. My ex was cheating on me. And it was something that went on for a long time right under my nose. You think you know someone. You give them everything & they take everything & throw it all away.

She looks up at Dylan. Dylan looks at her. Dylan hold Summer’s hand.

Dylan: I’m sorry they hurt you, but not everyone is out to hurt you. You need to trust people once in a while.

Summer: I’m just not ready. I’m not there yet.Maybe one day, but not today.

Summer let’s go of Dylan’s hand, gets up & heads back in the car. Dylan gets off of the hood, gathers the blanket & heads in the car. Dylan turns to look at Summer. He places his finger under her chin, lifts her head up & gently kisses her.

Dylan: Let’s get you home.

Dylan walked Summer to her door & Grandma was watching through the window. She hurried back to the couch where she pretended to be sleeping.

Summer: Dylan, thanks.

Dylan: Anytime. Goodnight, Summer.

Summer: Goodnight.

Summer closed the door behind her.

Summer: Hi grandma.

Grandma snorted pretended she was waking up.

Summer: Oh cut it out, grandma.

Grandma starts laughing.

Grandma: Did you have a good time?

Summer smiled as she made her way up the stairs.

Summer: Yeah.

She watched the window as Dylan drove off.

Grandma: It’s good to see you smiling again.

Summer: It feels good to smile again.
