I need help! Baby peanut butter?

Hey Mommies 
Im needing help my Raylynn is 4 months old and her doctor is wanting me to start introducing baby food and baby peanut butter since I’m highly allergic to peanuts to help her build a resistance to them which I’m completely okay with. (does kinda worry me she might have a reaction) But I’m having trouble finding baby peanut butter she said it’s not the same as regular peanut butter that it’s creamy but not as thick but she couldn’t remember that name of it she said it was at Walmart but I couldn’t find any. If you know about baby peanut butter please let me know

Try peanut powder instead. I bought my daughter oatmeal that you mix with formula and put a little bit in there.

I think your doctor is talking about this spread. My kids allergist just told me to take regular peanut butter and mix it in with warm water and spoon feed him a tiny bit. Try it for a full week with no other new foods. So you know what’s the actual culprit if your kid gets a rash or something. I use these for his snacks.

I'm just using normal peanut butter. That's what was recommended by our pediatrician.

I just buy regular peanut butter (the kind which has only peanuts as the ingredient) and then always mix it in with yogurt, applesauce, oatmeal, etc so the peanut butter isn’t in thick clumps that he could choke on.

I’ve never heard of baby peanut butter but you can make the powdered kind as thin as you want. I buy Justin’s and it’s pretty thin

When I introduced my son to peanut butter I just got organic smooth peanut butter and mixed it with a little bit of filtered water to make it less thick

We gave our son Bamba peanut snacks when he was starting solids. Supposedly it’s what all of the babies are given in Israel, where they have zero peanut allergies. Besides that we just gave him some organic peanut butter and mixed it with bananas, avocados, etc.

It was my understanding that the reason peanut butter isn recommended until they're older is because it's so thick it's a choking hazard. That's probably why some company decided to market 'baby' peanut butter. 
But I don't see a reason to pay a premium for that; you can still give her regular peanut butter it all depends how it's served. 
Melted and spread thin over toast, mixed into oatmeal, baked in things, cooked into sauce, all of those ways you wouldn't have to worry about choking because of how stick and thick straight peanut butter is.
