Inducing labour naturally ??

Has anyone managed to induce labour naturally ? 
What worked for you? 
How long did it take?

Any suggestions?

2 days before my water broke, my friend and I went to target and walked around for nearly 5 hours! I had a rush of energy that day and was trying to get my labor started. I think it worked. Plus I ate Mexican food that evening too and I've heard that spicy foods can kick start labor! Good luck!

When we were 40 weeks with our first we used a labor ball for awhhiiille, ate some sorta spicy food and then had sex. We walked around the neighborhood and danced lol anything! But I'd have to say a warm bath helped the most after all that. My water broke at 11:45pm that night. We only tried to induce labor because we were having a home birth and you can't pass 41 weeks so I really wouldn't try anything unless you have a good reason otherwise just let nature take its course.
