Back/pelvic pain contractions?

I’m 38+3 and over last couple days I’ve had really bad lower back pain but mainly only on the left side. And then the left side of my lower stomach going down to my pelvic area hurts as well. The right side feels fairly fine. What could be causing this. It hurts extremely bad and not sure if it’s early labor contractions in my back or not. It’s constant but sometimes it hurts more. For example, I took a nap today and when I woke up I went to turn on my side to get out of bed (slowly of course) and got a shocking pain through my lower back to pelvic area on the left side. Went away within seconds but hurt extremely bad. Sorry for the rant. FTM and not sure of anything. I was only 1 cm dilated on Wednesday.
