Threatened miscarriage with heart beat?

I went to the ER today for moderate red bleeding and mild cramping; they did a transvaginal ultrasound which showed I was right on track (7 weeks) and baby had a heart rate of 135. Does anyone have positive outcomes like this story? I’m afraid I’ll go back next week and there will be no heartbeat or I’m going to miscarry in the next several days

They always use that term in the Er for spotting while in early pregnancy. My pregnancy with my daughter and this pregnancy, I have had bright red blood spotting happen and my daughter will be 2 next month and this pregnancy I’m 25weeks 2 days.

I had a ‘threatened miscarriage’ twice, once at 6 weeks and once at 8 weeks. Bright red blood. Both times had an ultrasound and saw a heartbeat.

I had red bleeding that started at 7 weeks and it lasted for 5 days like a period, then it happened every month which every month was RED bleeding. So my doctors assumed it could be normal for me. Not every woman has the same uterus, so every one is different. A lot more women bleed more than people think because doctors won’t “normalize” it. My baby was healthy and so was I. They even did bloodwork and nothing was wrong. Good luck ❤️

This happened to me, I was around 6 weeks at the time of my first ultrasound rather than 9 weeks (I had ovulated late). Right before my appointment I started to bleed and it was bright red. My heart had sank because I had a miscarriage two months prior. We still went to the doctors for the ultrasound and we were amazed when we heard the heart beat! They had me come in again the following week to check everything again and they said the baby looked great and still had a strong heart beat. The bleeding stopped after a day or so they told me it was probably a blood vessel that burst. I am now 19 weeks 5 days with a healthy baby girl! Best wishes to you!

Yup! I had a bleed at 6 weeks. It was a subchorionic hemorrhage. Finding a heartbeat is a really good sign. I’m 37+ weeks now and baby is perfectly healthy!

Thank you so much ladies! Bleeding stopped today, very light tender feeling left in my abdomen and another OB appt on Tuesday. I’m very hopeful!
