Friends wont talk to you but wanna know when the baby is born

Is anyone going through this? My bestfriend wont talk to me if I dont talk to her, but she stated that I HAVE to tell her when my daughter is born.......I'm sorry what? You havent really checked on me but you wanna know? Like I'm baffled. Has anyone else encountered this?

EDIT: Btw, I do understand life gets hectic. My husband and I are dual military and our lives are super busy and people cant talk everyday, but for a best friend not to ask how you been through your pregnancy and demand to be told first, that's just not gonna fly.
