Moved away

Has anyone else been depressed or sad after moving with there significant other after moving away from home/family/friends? I moved about 5-6 hours away from Texas to New Orleans about 2 months ago to be with my boyfriend after I had our daughter but I just miss my family aka friends so much! I don’t know anyone here where I live now and we just got back from visiting my family in Texas over the weekend and I just can’t stop crying and feel depressed because I miss them specially my family.
