Anyone else have annoying in-laws🙄? Long story short they aren’t my favourite people and have had issues with them and they haven’t been the nicest towards me which did upset me but now I don’t care and just try to be civil as our baby boy and our relationship are more important to me. Also his little sister who is a year younger than him is pregnant too. I announced that I was pregnant and they were happy about having their first grandson. Then she announced that she was pregnant and found out that she’s having a boy as well. (Weird!!) Now all the lime light is on her, everything is about her even when myself and my partner go into their house to visit they always go on about her especially his mum and I just get so annoyed, not so much for me but more for my partner! I feel sorry for him as I feel like she’s bombing him out and all she cares about is his sister! I feel like we are in competition with her like she has to do one better than us. We got a gender reveal done with the balloon and his mum was all why waste money when you can get the gender free at your 20 week scan that’s what your sisters doing, then when we booked for our 4d scan my partner thought it would be nice to buy both mums the teddy bear with the baby’s heart beat recorded in it, so we gave her it and showed her the scan photos she loved it then his sister decided to do the exact same! She hardly ever asks about how our baby is doing or even how I’m doing it’s always oh your sister this your sister that 🙄 my partner eventually spoke to me and said he is getting annoyed about it now and he had a word with her, she apologised but still doesn’t stop talking about her🙄
