Anyone else’s partner complain every time you don’t do something right or perfect? He complains about the smallest things even about how I cut the brownies I made us. He’s always watching me when we’re home like every move I make and like analyzing me just so he can call me out on something and make me feel like a idiot or like I can’t do anything right. He calls me messy and lazy and I’m NOT I’m just not perfect and don’t care to be PERFECT. Im the one who keeps the house up not him anyway. I’m SO sick of it but there’s literally nothing more I can say to him about it that I haven’t already said. Except I really want to just scream shut the fuck up 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s why it’s a good idea to live with someone before marriage because you get to know everything about them. All the crap that annoys you will come out and then you can determine if they are the right one for you.

Some people pick up those behaviors from seeing their parents communicate or past unhappy relationships. It’s alot of work being over-controlling like he is, maybe he needs to learn that it can be just as good if not better adopting some of your ways of doing things or at least accepting that you do things differently to him. The World would be so boring if everyone did everything the same way. As for you, I guess you have 3 choices - put up with the constant scrutiny / change for him and see if it makes him content / teach him to chill out and be tolerant of your differences.

I knew I found the right person when the relationship was easy. We clicked well together. I was myself and so was he. If your always waiting for the other foot to drop...then that’s no way to live. You may to reevaluate your relationship.
