When it’s the FET after egg retrieval ?

Hey Ladies, 
I know each story is different, but when is usually the FET? Today is my 1st day of af, so soon I be ready to start stims. We are thinking to do a frozen transfer because we wanted to embryos to be genetically tested (hoping for some good ones). 
As the winter holidays are almost here, I don’t really want to have the transfer on the Christmas day or New Years day haha, though I would do it if I have to. My clinic is open 365, so I will also discuss with them tomorrow, but I wanted to hear some timeline stories from you. I’ve heard it’s about 6 weeks from the egg retrieval, so it makes me be somewhere between Christmas and the New Years)

My I got my results for my PGS testing two weeks after retrieval. I’m at a new clinic now so not exactly sure how long it takes to get results here. I’m not too worried about it because I know I won’t have a transfer until early next year because my clinic closes towards the end of December.

I did a 9/13 retrieval and my FET will be 12/2. I did an ERA last month, otherwise my transfer would’ve been on 10/24. 😊

You have wiggle room as to when your FET is.  If your lining is good they can “hold” it for a few days.  Once you start progesterone that is when the timing of a FET is important.  They can definitely move it around a few days so I wouldn’t worry.

It really depends on many factors. I’d check in with your nurse regarding time frame.

My clinic makes me do 8 weeks of birth control. I am on stims now and would plan to do a transfer in the new year.

My retrieval was June 25. Fet was sept 5

My fet was exactly 6 weeks after retrieval.  My nurse told me there is way more flexibility with scheduling fet, though, so you should be able to plan around the holidays.
