Kaiser vs Healthnet/UCSF open enrollment

Hi there,

I’ve been ttc for over one year, currently have Kaiser but had to wait six months to see a reproductive endocrinologist in SF for an initial consult. Also they moved back our appointment three times. We ended up paying out of pocket at an out of network fertility clinic because fed up about waiting so long, but kept our kaiser appointment in Dec.

Anyways, my question: does anyone have experiences/opinions on fertility treatment from kaiser vs healthnet/UCSF ? Because it’s open enrollment I can change insurance and am thinking of getting out of kaiser.

Also, hopefully we will get pregnant in 2020 which means I’ll also have to take birthing centers into account so let me know if you’ve heard of anything about UCSF Women’s hospital vs Kaiser SF Med Center in that regards .
