Stupid neighbor

I’m so frustrated with my neighbor right now I just need to seriously vent. My pregnancy hormones probably aren’t helping either.

I hate to be THAT person that calls the police for shit like this, but yesterday around 7 pm the neighbor started blaring extremely loud music. So loud that we could hear it over our tv all night. We don’t live in an apartment, duplex or town house so I really feel theres no reason I should ever be able to hear what a neighbor is doing and vise versa.

We didn’t do anything right away because noise ordinance isn’t until 9 or 10 pm and we were hoping they’d be a decent enough person and stop by then. Nope. Come midnight my bf finally decides to go over and try knocking on their door to politely ask them to turn it down for the night. Nobody answered. So I decided to call in a noise complaint. Police didn’t show up til 12:30 am which ok, I understand since its not an emergency by any means. They tried knocking on their door with no answer as well. So finally the police start banging on their window with a flash light. I guess that got their attention and they were given a warning. It stopped for a little while and we went to bed.

Next thing you know it’s 3 am and I’m being woken dead out of my sleep to loud ass music. I was so pissed like they can’t be serious right now. So I called the police again. Police came back and gave them another warning. I went back to bed.

So here we are again tonight, 11 pm and here we go with the fcking music again. I really don’t understand. Is this person on drugs? Or just that brain dead stupid? You’d have to be one of the two to just blatantly keep doing something the POLICE literally gave you TWO warnings for just the night before?!? Right?!? I do NOT want to keep calling the police for something like this but I seriously don’t know what else to do. 🤬😩🙄😤😒
