Boyfriend who gives NO input at all?

Question

What do I do with this kind of guy? He is sweet as can possibly be, I choose everything!! I choose where we eat, what we do, when we do it, he doesnt even really give me any compliments or “I’m really happy with you” kind of thing either. This bothers me because I’m a people pleaser, and I guess he is too, so we are kind of awkward I guess lol. I asked him the other day are you happy with me? And his response was “well I’m still with you am I not?” I’m not sure how to handle this kind of man lol, we have been dating for three months so I guess I need to start figuring that out. Anyone else date someone who is similar?

i guess it’s something i’ve gotten used to, it would bug the SHIT out of me in the beginning cause i’ve always been with guys that are like “let me take you on a date to this restaurant and this is what we’re doing this weekend” and when i see them it’s a “wow you’re so beautiful” and with my bf it’s always me choosing where and when and i’m asking “do i look good i just spent 2 hours getting ready” and he says “of course you know you’re always beautiful” .. i just give him options now like if he wants to eat at A or B and i did tell him how i want to feel beautiful and i want to hear it from you and he learned to.. every now and then lol

Lol i don't think i would be able to handle that kind of person. I hate indirect answers to direct questions. 
I can understand why you'd have a hard time with that. I like feedback, I like to know what my partner wants and likes and prefers... I want to know everything! 
I actually get a little perturbed sometimes with my current partner because he always seems cool with anything... which yes, I think he really is just a chill person, and not feeling picky, but for some reason this irritates me because I feel like I don't know how he feels!! Ah!! 
Even when it seems like things go badly, he's not upset by anything! I mean, im glad he's not upset, but, can't relate! Lol
I think you should keep trying to communicate with this person. Explain yourself, ask them about themselves. That's what I would do. Perhaps if he is more comfortable, he will be comfortable to share more.
