No heartbeat?

I went in thinking I was around 8 weeks and they didn’t tell me but I saw on the screen baby was measuring 6w+5 and I was told there was no heartbeat.

They said the long black shape on the right is a bleed but can anyone explain what I’m looking at in the sac?

It’s been two weeks and I’ve had some very light brown spotting but no cramps or anything.

Should I request another scan before I have the tablets to help pass everything, just in case there’s the tiniest chance they were wrong?

Does anyone have any similar stories?
