The top of my nipple is peeling. Its not painful or anything but what is it? 🥺

Once I went swimming and I was continually jumping into the pool. My nipples were feeling stingy like the water force hitting it was causing it to hurt. The next day my nipped were like “raw” or bare. After that day it begin to scab up and it was hurting.
