Plus size Prenatal Massage?

Question

Has anyone gotten one? I actually have never had a professional massage! I’m just tired of begging my husband and I feel like I need to treat myself. It sounds magical but what was your experience?

I’ve had one as soon as I was in the second trimester when it’s safe to get them done. You have to find a place that has a specific prenatal massage therapist otherwise if they’re not trained for prenatal massage you shouldn’t let them touch you! Also my massage was AMAZING loved every minute of it and would suggest them! You obviously can’t lay on your belly unless they have the pregnancy table where the belly part of the table comes out, so what they do is have you on your side and massage your back that way on one side then have you flip to your other side to massage the other side. Definitely is worth it if you go to the right place. I’m debating on spending the money for another one soon or not just because the holidays are here and my first borns bday is next week I’d hate to spend any extra money right now.

I go monthly. Love them! Just make sure the massage there is knowledgeable when it comes to prenatal massage. I was going before pregnancy,  and though the guy I see doesn't specialize in prenatal massage, he is very knowledgeable and I trust him. I totally recall you give it a try!

I haven’t gotten one. But my SIL got one when she was pregnant and she said it was frustrating because the therapist was scared to massage too deep and send her into labor. So she said it just felt lik a bunch of light petting. I guess it depends on your masseuse.
