Kind of Bummed!

I’ve just scheduled my first OB appt for this baby and they informed me their policy has changed so I will be meeting with a nurse the first visit. She will go through history/education, order labs and ultrasound, and anything else she deems necessary. So it sounds like we won’t be seeing or hearing our little bean this time? Not really sure what to expect now. First time around, we had everything done right at the visit and it was amazing! Anyone else’s OB have this policy? What can I expect? Thanks in advance!
