Fever for two days now !!

Hi there, my lo has had a fever that doesn’t really want to go away for two days now. It started yesterday morning like around 6 am. It was 100.4 f then during the day went up a bit more and down to 100 f. Around 1 am I wake up and she is 104 f. I gave her Tylenol again and called the doctor and they said to wait 45 min and see if it goes down. It went down to 102 so we didn’t take her. Today it was a bit better because she was like 2 hours in the 99s so no fever for two hours but now again !! I have an appointment for tomorrow but I can’t help to feel anxious and sad. She is sleepy, cranky and doesn’t want to eat solids only drink formula but other than that, no other symptoms. No runny nose, or cough, or rash. I’ve read that teething doesnt give you high fever or at least it doesn’t last for two days. Please what do you think?? I need some reassurance
