Can you have water during fasting period?

I have my blood glucose test tomorrow. Can I have water while I fast the hours before it?

I was told to not fast. I could eat protein but nothing sugary. But yes, water is completely fine

Ask your Dr. My paperwork says nothing to eat or drink for 12 hours.

Fasting only applies to food/juice, most say you can even have black coffee

Ask your doctor. Not all doctors rewuire fasting, i was told to eat and drink normally before mine.
