What do you guys do for work?

Question

Hi just wondering what do you all do for work? And did you carry it on when found out you was pregnant? My job involves a lot of bending at the waist emptying bins and leaning over desks to clean them, aches my back already but I’m just petrified I’m gonna end up miscarrying 🤦🏻‍♀️ I only work 2 hrs a day though Monday-Friday. What you all do?? Would like some reassurance really 🙈

I worked as a nurse in the operating room my entire pregnancy up until the day I delivered (I worked that day and went into labor around midnight). It was a lot of hard work, but I was able to do it and some people were very helpful and helped with the heavy lifting and more (physically) difficult tasks. Goodluck mamma, you gotta do whatever’s best for you! :)

I'm only a couple weeks into my pregnancy but I'm working 40 hrs a week at a medical cannabis facility. I help with cloning the plants and growing those clones up into bigger plants 🙂. When I do tell my workplace I'm just going to make it a stipulation that I can't be around the older plants once they are flowering, just in case. The tiny baby plants should be fine for me to be around, and that's mainly my job now anyways.

I’m 36 weeks and a waitress at one of the busiest Cheesecake Factory’s in the country. Still working. don’t get me wrong, it’s hard and exhausting being on my swollen ass feet for 6 hours straight without sitting or breaks! My coworkers are amazing though and help me with anything I need especially the bending and lifting cause If I go down I’m not coming up 😂 I plan on working and making all the extra money I can till I go into labor! Honestly though do what you are comfortable with and what you feel your body needs! If that means opting out of work so be it! Enjoy your pregnancy ♥️♥️♥️

Teacher and waitress on the weekends. I’m due in July so I won’t be super pregnant when school gets out; the waitressing is wearing me out though. It’s incredibly stressful. When I feel like I can’t do it anymore, I’m going to quit.

Property  exec working at a law firm. Unfortunately had to leave due to pregnancy anxiety and panic attacks but hope to go back one day....

Librarian and cheerleading coach, for a total of around 40 hours a week. Plan to work until close to my due date. I'm mostly sitting at the library, obviously. I had to stop spotting while coaching, for fear of being hit, but I'm also going to continue that job as well.

I’m a neonatal nurse practitioner. I’ve had to tell my fellow NNPs and docs because there’s certain rooms I’m not able to go in to bc it could he harmful for the baby, otherwise I’m still working like normal!

I’m a teacher - it’s a stressful and pressurised job so it was hard doing it while pregnant. 
The last few weeks involved parents evening (which meant a 7:30am start and 7:30-8pm finish) along with a lot of other late working nights 🙈 I still managed to work until 38 weeks pregnant and baby came naturally at 39+2.
