How do you get your EBF babies to sleep longer at night?

How do y’all do it!? My boy will wake up every 2-3 hours at night no matter what I do. He cluster feeds from 6-8 then will get a 4oz bottle which he usually falls asleep on and ends up only eating about 3. I feel like he should def be full but it never fails that he wakes up and wants to eat😫

I feel this so much that I could have written it. The only thing I've found that helps a little is doing a "dream feed" between 10/11. Usually gets me an extra hour if that. I'm hoping that she grows out of it eventually.

We’ve been working on trying to get him back to sleep without eating first to try and stretch out his stomach. Lately he will sleep another hour or so before he really needs to eat. He still wakes up at least 2 times a night though 🤷🏼‍♀️

This was happening to us up until a few nights ago. We feed him every 2-3 hrs during the day, 4 oz bottle of breast milk at bedtime (usually he only eats 2-3 ounces). He would do a 3-4 hr stretch then be up every hour after that. The last 2 nights he did a 6 hour stretch. He’s done 7 in the past. My guess is they are waking up to be soothed and it’s the breastfeeding that puts them back to sleep, I don’t think they are actually hungry. So in time your baby will hopefully be able to soothe themselves. There’s not too much we can do I don’t think and eventually they’ll figure it out.

My girl started sleeping longer at night when I started doing an eat/play/sleep routine during the day.  Her naps are so short that I ended up feeding her a lot more frequently than I had been before-- so she went from eating every 3ish hours during the day to every 2ish hours, depending on how long she naps.
It sounds counterintuitive, but I think that helped her shift the majority of her calorie consumption to the daytime and she stopped waking up hungry at night. Now she sleeps 7-9 hours in her first stretch, eats, and then goes down for another 2-4 hours. 
It's a little more work during the daytime but my nighttime sleep is worth it 😅
