Opks have me confused

So, yesterday I got a positive opk at 9pm, but this morning it was my peak at 7am so based on the books, I should ovulate 24-36 hours later. Now I don’t know if my ovulation is today because I got my first positive at 9pm last night or tomorrow because it peaked today at 7am. I’m sorry if it’s a dumb question, I’ve never gotten a positive opk ever and I’m still learning. Tonight I’m cramping pretty bad.
