Tubes tied?

I just want to know everything there is to know about it, and any advice anyone has. 
I’ve asked my doctor about it and really haven’t gotten too much of a response other than “ you know it’s permanent right “ & “ the hospital would have to approve “ 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m 24, with three girls & a boy on the way. I’m beyond done 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ I want them tied I just want to know the procedure? I want to know the shit they don’t tell you, and I wanna hear from anyone that has had one. Can y’all help me out, since my doctors not taking me serious! I mean what do I gotta do have 10 kids before they stop giving me shit about this?? 😐😐 I wanted them tied after my third but my doctor wouldn’t do it then and my birth control failed, as happy as I am to be getting my son I’m really DONE DONE 🤰🏻🙅🏻‍♀️

I had mine tied in 2010 and then had a reversal in 2016(not covered by insurance)Having them tied was torture. If you want to know what they won’t tell you just google Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome. I had all but three symptoms. I many times told people I would have rather had 19 more babies than to have one day feeling any of that. Now I won’t tell anyone what to do, and if your done your done. All I will say is just do all the research you can before you sign anything! Also my OBGYN that I had all my life would not do it for me, so at the time I found another dr who would, so you can find someone if you want it. Good luck on what ever you choose ☺️

It's your age. Most doctors have boxes they tic off before they decide if a woman can have one which is ridiculous(age, number of children, husbands consent, ect). Find another doctor.

I'm 26 and due with bby #6 (45 days left) 3times bc failed when i had my third my ob asked if i wanted to get my tubes tied i was 19 so i told her no when i had bby #5 i wanted to tie my tubes but bf told me that i should wait so i did got pregnant at 5mo pp, on monday i had my ob appt @33wks and i told my ob i wanted to tie my tubes and she said if that's what i wanted we would sign the papers because i had to sign them atleast 30days before my dd i told her i was 100% sure so we sign the papers before i left so i will be getting my tubes tied the same day baby is born i will be delivering natural so i was told i would only get a small cut near my bellybutton so No you don't got to get a csection to get this done.... If this dr doesn't want to do what you are 100% sure that you really want this try finding another ob who understands and respects your decision good luck

Find another doctor. I had mine done after my 3rd and I was 25 years old. He was willing to do it after my 2nd and I was 21 years old.

Age. No doctor will do it unless medically necessary. They think you are to young, and will regret it when your older. It sucks, but that's the way it goes, all doctors feel this way
