Anyone else have stretch marks this bad? Do they get better after?

Looks like beautiful tiger stripes to me. 
My mum has a scar on her arm from a car accident years before I was born. All her freckles have turned into stripes as they’ve been stretched by the scar. She always told me they were her tiger stripes. So from an early age I always just thought that the stretched freckles, scar tissue and her stretch marks were tiger stripes. Which as a kid I obviously thought was awesome. 
Now that I understand what they actually all are... I’m happy keeping my mindset that she has tiger stripes all over her body and they’re amazing.

never that severe, but any red stretch mark i’ve had has gone silver/white at the least and pretty much unnoticeable at best. i have them in breasts/hips

I got them this bad with my first. They DO lighten up! You can see them more now that im pregnant again, but before they had gone down to my normal skin tone. It took some time, but i didn't do anything to make them lighten quickly i just let them do their thing.

Yes my stomach was like that but not till late pregnancy - they don’t go away they just fade to your skin colour 🙂 pregnant with my second so hoping this time around they aren’t as purple 🤞🏼

Thank you all for your kind words.  I wouldn’t take it back for anything in the world but I do have my sad moments about them.  Plus they itch.   
I just got annoyed when people say well at least you can get pregnant etc.   Ive had three miscarriages prior to this sticky boy so I’m grateful.     I just felt alone cause every tummy you see anywhere is soft and pretty and mine looks is all (literally all) very purple stretch marks, I needed to talk but some people don’t get that.

None yet (still early on)....but in general with stretch marks and skin. They should either go away or fade in time so they wont be so noticeable. A lot of this is genetic and how your skin handles things.
