It takes me 20 minutes to bike to work, more if its windy or icy out

I live in a rural county but only about 20 minutes from the interstate and about 45 minutes from a big-ish metro city. A lot of jobs are located in that city and so the traffic coming OUT of the county I live in is ridiculous in the mornings because there’s only one way out and its on a 4 line divided highway. What would normally take 45 minutes takes almost 2 hours... It’s so bad and I wish the county would build more roads or a new parkway or something 😩😩 because more and more people are starting to move here and more and more housing is getting built everyday.... 😅😐 but rent here is way cheaper than it is in the bigger city so I will stay here .
