Is there anyway to get out of compulsory flu shots?

I work in aged care, recently a new thing for working in aged care has came out and you need your flu shot every winter or you can't work. I think it's a great idea but I can't get the flu shot. I'm allergic to eggs and the flu shot has egg protein. Is there anyway I can not get it? Please and thanks

There is a flu shot called Flublok that isn’t made from eggs.

They do have an egg-free version out now. The CDC says people with egg allergies can still get the regular version, but i wasn't willing to risk it

I guess you would need medical certificate from your Dr to provide to your employer that proves you are unable to have a flu vaccine.

I'm sure if you explain that you're allergic to an ingredient in it an exception could be made? I would just ask about it.

You might get away with a Dr note but they might have you wear a face mask during the flu season
