Why are maternity clothes so ugly?!

Question

I'm almost 11 weeks but I'm short (under 5ft) so my tummy is already poking out and none of my bottoms fit me. I've spent hours looking at maternity clothes, and they're all awful. Please tell me I'm not the only one that's found this?! I'm in the UK so I don't know if it's any better else where in the world! Has anyone found anything nice? 🙈😂

idk if they deliver to the UK but pink blush maternity is decent! the only maternity clothes that dont resemble granny clothing 😂

Majority of what I've seen and tried has been horrible too. 🙄 The only pants I like are the Jessica Simpson ones from Motherhood Maternity. I've gotten cute tops and dresses from Pink Blush. Not sure if you have MM in the UK, or if Pink Blush delivers there. I've heard that H&M has cute maternity, but I haven't looked yet.

Yep! I’m in the US and they’re ugly here too. I’ve found a couple cute pairs of maternity jeans and I’ve been able to buy just shirts in a couple sizes bigger but that’s not gonna work for much longer either. I love pink blush but it’s a little pricey for me since I’m not gonna be wearing them forever.

All my maternity clothes have been second hand from thrift shops. ( I can't fathom spending big bucks on something I'll only wear for half a year).....
 I've found the best pants so far aren't maternity pants but "support leggings".....most maternity leggings I've found are WAY to long (I'm 5'1) and have too much gapping in the stomach area, unless your like 30 weeks. 
The support leggings are comfy and have plenty of stretch and support without being way too big. I found mine at Walmart but I'm not sure what the UK equivalent would be.

I agree. I'm 25 weeks now but have only been able to find 1 pair of maternity jeans that actually fit decent and aren't super saggy. Otherwise maternity leggings are wonderful and have been my go to.
So many shirts have unnecessary ruffles and weird stuff going on.
My best luck has been at second hand shops and Walmart.

I’m not sure if MotherhoodMaternity ships to the UK either, but google them. That’s wear I got my maternity pants. A little pricey but worth it bc they were cute and fit great. I’m 4 months PP and still wear them bc they’re cute 😂

I like mamalicious, H&M, and Boob. But also bought some tops a size or three bigger than normal. I have also been wearing dresses for mist of the third trimester, and all my dresses are from bravissimo.
