They say I can have a water labor but when it's time to give birth that has to be done out the water.

I’m not sure about it being illegal but some hospital policies are against it. My hospital has jacuzzi bathtubs that we are allowed to labor in but not able to birth in.

Most hospital policies are against it, as it's a super high expense to sanitize them with having the actual birth In The tub, your best bet would be contacting some birthing centers instead if your heart is set on a full water birth.
