This isn’t my story but a family friends, I just thought it was so insane I had to share it with someone. Basically my moms friends daughter was pregnant. She’s only 15, not that age matters, I don’t judge because I don’t know the situation 🤷🏼‍♀️ but she was pregnant and not due for another month (I believe her due date was sometime in late December) She had an appointment the other day and the doctors wanted to do an ultrasound for some reason or another (not sure if she was measuring big or something) so they do the ultrasound, and baby’s measuring around 9 and a half pounds. She’s probably only 35 weeks or so at this point. They’re obviously concerned, that’s looking like a big baby, and she’s only 15? So they do an emergency C-Section the next day. And the baby comes out at a whopping 11 pounds. The ultrasound was off, luckily it still showed the baby was bigger than normal though. I can only imagine how bad it would have been if they hadn’t noticed and let her try to do a vaginal delivery, I know it’s possible, but a 15 year old having to push a baby that big out just seems so much scarier.
