I’m only 21 and haven’t scheduled many dr appointments on my own.

Well I hurt my knee at work, I’m going up to work tomorrow to see if they can do anything about paying for the medical visit since it happened on the clock.

But I’d also like to get a not related lab test done and wanted to save myself a trip and the hassle of scheduling the extra appointment.

I have insurance. Would I be able to go to the doctors for my knee and request them to do the unrelated test all on the same day? And they could just bill my insurance separately than the knee issue??

Would it be more expensive that way? Is a hospital more expensive than a primary even for the same test?
