Did you get the ring you thought you would?

I’m not tying to imply anything bad with this. I’m genuinely curious. Neither of my rings are what I thought they would be. I went to try on rings by myself well before we had talked about when we would get engaged (we agreed on after college). I thought I wanted a three stone ring but it looked awful on, so I tried on a few others. I ended up thinking that I wanted a simple pavé solitaire. Totally not what I got. He ended up getting my a twisted rose gold and diamond anniversary band. My wedding ring wasn’t what I thought it would be either. It’s actually a lot closer to what I thought my engagement ring would be. Rose gold with a morganite stone with a diamond halo and pavé. It’s so beautiful

I love my rings because my husband picked them out for me to symbolize his love and commitment. They're perfect, and I'd think that even if he got them from a gumball machine.

I'm not going to lie no.. do I hate my ring no because the meaning behind it do my have my dislikes about it yes. The ring was passed down from my husbands family. The ring stands really tall and makes it top heavy. witch I dont like everything else about the ring i love.

Yes, only because I work at the jewelry store my fiance got mine from and he wanted me to pick it out that way he was spending money on something I loved. 
I made sure he absolutely loved the one I loved too! I stare at my ring 24/7 but I think he stares more 😍🤣

I got the ring I picked out.  We went ting shopping together the one they had the store was smaller and we talked about a bigger diamond unfortunately hey didn’t have it in the store for us to see but loved the other one he ordered it so I didn’t know the final results until he proposed.  I’m glad I got to pick out my ring I would hate to end up with something I didn’t like.  But everyone different that’s what worked for us.

My fiancé decided that I was the “one”. He went and picked out the ring for me, it represents a lot so I don’t care about the cost of the ring or how it looks. I think jewelry is beautiful in general so I was very happy anyways. My ring is beautiful and I love it, I love him.

I was engaged once with a diamond how i wanted it and it didn’t work out so when i moved on and found someone else, we kind of skipped the proposal and engagement and just got married. We got matching black bands that were not expensive at all and its been very humbling. I dont see the need for flashy diamonds and i actually love my simple band. Maybe one day for an anniversary or baby i can get something to go with it, but its not important. Love my husband 🥰
