Where should baby sleep

Question

Ok so I’m trying to see what should I buy. Should I buy her a crib, a bassinet, or a playpen with the little sleep thingy in the inside. I found a mattress and crib bundle at Walmart for 133 dollars. It’s a convertible crib which means it will turn into toddler bed when ready for transition. Which do y’all prefer momas. What has been y’all experiences with these items.

On babe #3 here. You’ll really just need a crib and some sort of bassinet/pack and play. Maybe a second if you have a 2 story house like I do. I know lots of people if you have the room to do a pack n play in the bedroom cuz then you can continue to use it for a while. Or if you want the smaller option there’s the traditional bassinets that will hold baby till they start rolling and stuff, but those will last you only about 5-6 months.

I have all 3 bassinet, crib and pack n play that had a bassinet attachment and I purchased a mattress for it as well for when my daughter outgrew the attachment. I had the bassinet in my room. Crib in the nursery and pack n play in the living room so I could lay her down wherever I needed to and she be close by.

I prefer a bassist at first because it makes night time feedings so much easier and then moving them to their crib in their own room when they are sleeping for longer stretches at night. For my son that was around 5 months old and he didn’t have any problem with the transition.

Bassinet is what we are doing at first, but we do have a crib too. We also got one of those Boppy things that you can put the baby in to chill and a swing.

I got a bassinet for my baby because I wanted him to sleep in the same room with me and our room doesn’t have space for a crib. A bassinet is also easier because you can put it next to your bed and it makes nighttime feedings so much easier. Im able to pick up my baby to feed him and change him every two hours without leaving my bed. I  got the UPPAbaby bassinet but I kinda wish I had gotten one of those bassinets that rocks because my baby only sleeps if I rock him to sleep and my arms are killing me lol.  I’m planning on buying a crib as soon as he doesn’t fit in his bassinet anymore. 
This is my first baby so I’m always panicking checking that he’s still breathing or that he didn’t throw up in his sleep so having the bassinet next to me helped me stop being so worried.

We did bassinet in our room until a few months old, moved her into a pack and play in our room until 6 months then transitioned her to her crib in her own room.

My son slept in a pack n play in our room for 6 mos (we had one with a raised base) and then went to the crib in his room. He’s still in the crib and will be two in January

Thank you ladies. I’ve heard people say their babies outgrew their bassinets fast. My room is kinda big so I was thinking just getting a crib and putting it over in the  corner and giving her her own side. I have an extra. Bedroom it’s really my two year old daughters room but she still sleeps with me so the room is empty. I might just get a bassinet for now and a toddler bed to put my two years old in in her own room. That’s gone be hell tho cause the only way she can sleep is in my back literally😂
