Transitioning from bottle to sippy...help!

Valery

How are you guys transitioning your littles from the bottle to a sippy? I diligently send a sippy to daycare daily for her and have it out at every meal and even playtime, so she gets used to it being around. She will play with it and occasionally gets a drink as she gnaws on it, but we're still far from progress. Today, I tried her formula in the sippy and she wouldn't have it, even holding her like our usual nursing time. She only chewed on it and let the formula dribble everywhere. Tried using the bottle nipple on the sippy, no go. I can interchange other parts of the sippy and bottle, so I'm going to keep trying at most of her feedings. I'm starting to stress a bit, as I know the formula is the most important nutrition of her day at this age. I don't want to take the "she'll take it when she's hungry" approach, as I don't want to run the risk of dehydration. Feels like I'm running against the clock with that magical twelve months to stop bottles entirely and force her onto sippies 🤦‍♀️ Any advice is welcome!
