How many people didn't find out the gender until birth?

I'm curious. I want to wait until birth but i also want to know.....were you happy you waited? Did it affect any type of bond between you and your SO? Did you feel more connected or less connected with baby by waiting? To be honest I'm afraid I won't feel as close to my baby if i wait to find the gender.... I'm just being honest so options are greatly appreciated!!❤️❤️❤️

Why would that dictate your bond with baby 🤔?? Anywho, we are waiting because we want to be surprised. I feel it's kinda boosted the excitement. We just pray for a healthy child. That's most important to us.

My sister waits to find out the gender and honestly it’s the best surprise in the world. She has never not felt a connection with her babies.

I would want to know with my first so I could be prepared for all sorts of things. I would like to have a nursery set up and have outfits picked out for special occasions and just be prepared in general. It’s one less stress to deal with since being pregnant and always worrying is number one stress lol.

i’m pregnant with my first and he’s a boy if my second is a girl i plan on being surprised with following pregnancies

I waited with my second. It was one of the best decision I've ever made. 
As far as bonding, it took me longer to bond with my first and I found out gender before hand whereas #2 was immediate.

Honestly some people just don’t feel a bond with their babies till after birth regardless. It’s not a big deal. They’re just a little squish ball and sometimes it’s hard to think of them as your baby until you hold them. My sister had a boy and a girl and then waited to find out the gender for their third child. I don’t think it impacted their relationship in any way. It was just a fun surprise and the whole family is obsessed with him.
