Avoiding Postpartum Depression
I had terrible postpartum when my twins were born two years ago. They were born two months early and while I’m sure that played a big part in it, most of the problem was that I really missed pregnancy. Every little tummy movement made me cry because i missed feeling kicks. Every time I looked at my postpartum body I cried because i missed my baby bump. It was a tough time.
I’m pregnant with my third baby now and I’m due in February. I’m doing my best to soak up every little moment in this pregnancy since I missed the last one so much. Has anyone been here before? And if you have, do you have any tips for ways I can avoid missing my pregnancy as much as last time? How do you preemptively keep away baby blues?
