Am I in labour? Please help 😩

Been having period like pains since yesterday morning since I woke up through to now (about 34 hours since start) they come and go was more regular yesterday about 5-10 min apart but now I still have the pain a little more intense but not so close together? More 15-20 min apart but some straight after each other. The pains last about 30-50 seconds what’s going on? I thought it was meant to worsen? Just want it over with now 😔 no show or waters gone yet. 40 weeks 5 days 😩

This sounds like me when I was in labor. My water had not broke but the contractions were bad enough that they kept me I was 3 cm when they took me in. I would go to l&d and hopefully they would admit you to have to baby being you are over your due date. I was 40 w and 2 days. Good luck mama just breathe through the contractions. It’s so worth it once you see that face.

You can always call labor and delivery and the nurses can give you advice. They are super helpful. They can tell you if you should come in to get checked. Or call your OB. Good luck!

Try to keep moving and walking. See if you can get it to progress. If no luck with progression in an hour, lay down and take a rest. If it’s false labor, the rest will help to decrease the contractions. Your description sounds like what my false labor was like. Inconsistent contraction that were semi painful
