has anyone had pneumonia?

I went to the doctors yesterday and they said I have pneumonia. I’ve never felt so sick in my life and I just want it to pass. Anyone have it before and make it through it?? How long did it take?? Any tips? I live at college in a dorm (don’t worry I’m on antibiotics, no longer contagious). I can’t keep missing classes.

get a doctors excuse! that’s definitely a reason to miss class. you need to rest

I had it when I gave birth to my son. It’s brutal and you need to rest. Get a doctor note for some time off.

Yes. In university I had pneumonia during exams.
I got a doctors note excusing me from my last 2 exams. They just faxed it right to my professor for me.
It was awful! You just have to rest and drink lots of fluids.
