Do you have to wait for induction?

Question

Being induced, and I read that you might be sent home because scheduled inductions aren't as important as women in labor on their own. Should I expect to be sent home? Hospital is kinda far.

I asked my doctor about this because I'm being induced thursday and if it's a medical reason you don't go home

It happens you could call ahead and ask but some things happen last minute.  I have heard the reason for you to be induced also plays a part. Like if it's just exective your be under the ones with major medical reasons. But out of many women I know who have been induced. Only one was sent home and it happened the next day.

If your hospital has a bunch of women come in for labor or c sections then yes they send you home bc those become first priority.
