After 2 weeks on birth control, I finally had my first monitoring yesterday and was given the go ahead to discontinue birth control and start injections in three days.

I dreamt last night that we only got one embryo at the end of

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>

and I was sobbing in my dream so clearly I’m anxious about that haha time will tell.

Thankful we at least have this option and hoping against hope it works. 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Update:

21 eggs retrieved, 20 mature and viable, 18 fertilized and 18 made it to day 3 so far!! Last hurdles are day 5 and pgs! Thrilled with the results so far.

Sadly I came down with ohss symptoms and doctor strongly advised against fresh embryo transfer given high risk factors (ohss symptoms, already had fluid buildup, high e2, many follicles). That's been a hard pill to swallow. I really fantasized about the joy a pregnancy would bring to our Christmas after waiting so long.

All in all, I'm very grateful for the embryo results this far. Just praying they stay strong.
