I’m on the pill. I’ve been on the pill for two and a half years and I barely miss a pill. I’ve been spotting for about 6 months now. Went to the doctor and told me I had a sensitive cervix ‘cause of the pill, but it doesn’t explain the spotting so I have to take an ultrasound to check if I have anything else. My spotting usually lasts 3 days and happens on my 2nd week and comes back towards the end of my pack. It’s usually light pink or brown. However, two days ago, I started spotting dark brown and lasted only a day. It didn’t look like my usual spotting as this was darker. The spotting happened exactly a week my period is due. I read that’s about the time you get implantation bleeding. I didn’t miss any pills, but I’m afraid I might have failed it somehow. I don’t know. Maybe it’s the alcohol, I’ve been going to parties. Does alcohol affect the effectiveness of the pill? I did take my pill a little late maybe about 5 hours late because I forgot my wallet in the hotel room while on vacation in the beginning of my pack. Is that a cause for birth control failure? I’m going crazy. I don’t know what’s happening. The following picture’s a bit TMI. So sorry!!! Is it possible I might be pregnant??
