Daycare?

My baby is due in may and I'm currently living at my grandma's but I'm wanting to get an apartment with my brother the only problem is when the baby is born I need to stay home with him/her but I won't be able to work to pay my part how long should I wait to start taking my baby to daycare?

Most places start at 6 weeks. They are also more expensive for infants. I'll be paying about $950 for my employer-provided daycare. The other daycares around here are closer to $1,200 for infants.

A lot of daycares will take them at just a few weeks. I have to go back pretty soon but my hubby is gonna stay home with him until he gets a little older. Do you have family that can help in the beginning?
