Induction not going as planned 😭

Just needing to vent So I had my birthing plan set out!

Induction set for yesterday, waters broken in the morning, great support team, early epidural with no pain and they could tell me when I needed to push... well baby has other plans.

After having my induction pushed back from earlier in the week as they had emergency cesareans come in, it was finally my turn.

They tried to break my waters only to feel something wasn’t right.

So after having at least three different midwifes/doctors shoving their hand up me for 40 min and an ultrasound, they found babies head was in a dangerous position to give birth to.

They then decided to rotate baby however before anything could be done, baby decided to disengage from my pelvis and shoot right up, so gel was decided upon to hopefully push baby into the right position and scheduled to be given several hours ago.

Then multiple women were admitted, like 11 for various reasons that took priority so everyone around me is having babies while I’m sitting here with a bleeding sore vagina - waters still intact.

Now I’m staying in the hospital alone and they’ll try the gel tomorrow or Sunday possibly but can’t confirm anything as they have too many deliveries taking priority and they’re short staffed. 🙈😭
