When did you start painting your daughters finger and toe nails?

Luna is 19 months old and I really want to paint her toes! But I feel like her father (not on good terms) is gonna give me crap about it. 
When did y’all start doing it ?

I would do it now if I had the piggy paint lol but I just forget to order it! She’s a year old so I’m not confident in using the real deal in her! My husband would love it lol he, much to my surprise, has been all about the girly girl stuff lol

I did their toenails during the summer time after a year old.  Fingernails weren’t until around 5 though.  They used to love pedicure day 🥰 if your daughter doesn’t love it though, skip it.  No point in stressing them out just for something cute.

I didn’t do fingernails at that age since they constantly put their hands in their mouths, but toenails are fine to do. Make sure you use a nail polish that doesn’t have all the harmful chemicals in it. Something that is free of toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and/or formaldehyde.

I’ve been painting my little girls toes from 6months old as she never put them in her mouth. I did buy kid friendly nail vanish but it was rubbish and came off after a day, so I just used my own. 😊 she’s a year old now but I won’t paint her finger nails as she forever putting them in her mouth. Il be waiting till she’s about 2 till I paint them.

3yrs old. I think I’ve painted them twice. It’s a fun little bonding experience when I’m feeling up to painting mine (which is rare).
